Linda O. Gutowski PT, DPT, CLT

I graduated with a BFA in graphic design from WCU. In 1991, I was involved in a car accident that introduced me to physical therapy. At the hands of a skilled PT, I decided that helping people was more important than filling up rivers and landfills with chemicals and magazines. In 1998 I graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy, with specialization in CranioSacral Therapy, and owned a private practice in north Alabama for 8 years. During a visceral manipulation course in 2004, I discovered my passion for the pelvis. Frustrated with the limits of my MT license, I went to PT school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Since graduating in 2010, I have been working my way toward pelvic certification. While fulfilling my role as a certified lymphedema therapist, I discovered the postural compensation concepts that hugely impact the way I practice orthopedic and pelvic PT.

From my roots in CranioSacral therapy to discovering Postural Restoration, I feel I have come full circle in my understanding of how everything in the body is connected through fascia. I couldn’t be more excited to return to the mountains, my spiritual home, and share my passion for the benefit of my patients.

Advancing the practice of Physical Therapy one patient at a time.
